A Journey to Base Camp & Island Peak
The Everest Base Camp Trek with Kala Patthar (5,545m) is one of the most breathtaking and rewarding journeys on Earth, blending adventure, culture, and natural beauty. More than a trek, it is a soulful expedition into the heart of the Himalayas.
Ascending through Sagarmatha National Park, we pass through timeless Sherpa villages where ancient Buddhist traditions thrive. Colorful prayer flags flutter in the alpine breeze, mani walls line the trails, and spinning prayer wheels create a deeply spiritual atmosphere.
This iconic journey offers spectacular panoramic views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and other Himalayan giants. Guided by an experienced team of Sherpa trekking guides, I will also share personal stories from my Everest climb in April/May 2025, as we follow the route of historic Everest expeditions.
The trek culminates with a rare overnight stay at Everest Base Camp, a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience. Here, we will meet fellow Everest climbers and gain firsthand insight into life on an active expedition.
After Everest Base Camp, you are invited to join me for the ascent of Island Peak (Imja Tse). Named by a British expedition for its island-like appearance amid snow and ice, Island Peak is a striking and rewarding climb. The expedition is led by highly experienced Sherpa guides, with a 1:1 guide-to-client ratio to ensure safety and personalized support.

OUR PROGRAMME:
Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu (1,400 m) and Transfer to the Hotel
Day 2: Prepare Permits, Trek Briefing, Gear Check and Shopping.
Day 3: Drive to Ramechhap (1,218 m), fly to Lukla (2,860 m) and trek to Phakding (2,650 m).
Day 4: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m).
Day 5: Rest and Acclimatization Day – Hike to Everest View Point (3,880 m)
Day 6: Trek to Tengboche (3,860 m).
Day 7: Trek to Dingboche (4,410 m).
Day 8: Rest and Acclimatization Day – Hike to Nagarjun (5,100 m)
Day 9: Trek to Lobuche (4,900 m).
Day 10: Trek to Gorakshep (5,140 m) and Hike to Everest Base Camp (5,364 m) - overnight stay at Everest Base Camp
Day 11: Breakfast at Everest Base Camp - Hike to Kala Pathar (5,445 m) and trek back to Pheriche (4,371 m).
Day 12: Training & rest day at Chhukung.
Day 13: Trek to Island Peak Base Camp (4,970 m).
Day 14: Summit Island Peak (6,189 m) & back to Chhukung.
Day 15: Trek back to Tengboche.
Day 16: Trek back to Monjo (2,835 m).
Day 17: Trek back to Lukla.
Day 18: Fly back to Ramechhap and further, drive back to Kathmandu
Day 19: Departure home
WHAT’S INCLUDED:
Airport pick-up and drop-off for both (International and Domestic).
03 nights 4-star hotel in Kathmandu on Bed and Breakfast with twin room sharing. (Please note that the single supplement extra charge will be applied).
One welcome/farewell dinner in Kathmandu in a typical Nepali Restaurant.
Domestic flights via Ramechhap (Ktm – Lukla – Ktm) with airport tax.
All the necessary permits for Everest Base Camp Trek.
Insurance for all the involved outdoor Nepalese Staff.
Attached bathroom at Lukla, Phadking, Namche Bazaar and common room at Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche, Gorakshep and Pheriche on twin room sharing.
03 meals a day (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) with tea/coffee during the entire trek.
01 overnight stay at 8K Expeditions camp at Everest Base Camp.
01 certified English speaking trek guide along with an assistant guide.
(Only above 8 pax).
Necessary porters (01 Members: 01 Porter).
20kg per member as personal baggage.
First aid medical kit carried by trek guide.
Applicable Nepal Government Taxes and Company Service Charges.
Island Peak climbing and EBC Trek certificate after the successful assent of peak.

Nepal entry visa fee to be applied for 30 days (Not required for Indian residency).
International flight tickets.

Personal Trekking Gears.
Travel, Medical, and Emergency rescue insurance.
(Minimum coverage US$15,000/-).
Summit Bonus: US$250/- per climbing guide and US$100/- per member for the porters. The Sherpa summit bonus is mandatory once the summit push begins, even if the climb is discontinued due to the client’s condition or any other reason
